Fondo

Programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (CD274/PD-L1) is a ~32 kDa protein. Plays a critical role in induction and maintenance of immune tolerance to self. As a ligand for the inhibitory receptor PDCD1/PD-1, modulates the activation threshold of T-cells and limits T-cell effector response. Through a yet unknown activating receptor, may costimulate T-cell subsets that predominantly produce interleukin-10 (IL10). CD274 is the therapeutic target of atezolizumab (Tecentriq) and durvalumab (Imfinzi).

    Flow CytoMetry

    Flow-cytometry using anti-human CD274 antibody. Untransfected cells (blue Histogram) and Transfected cells (Yellow Histogram) were stained with an anti-human CD274 monoclonal antibody (Catalog: MV974207) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L Polyclonal Antibody, FITC (abinScience: MF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
