Estabilidad y almacenamiento

Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for frequent use. Store at -20 to -80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.

Fondo

Major surface glycoprotein G is a ~23 kDa protein. Attaches the virion to the host cell membrane by interacting with glycosaminoglycans, initiating the infection. Unlike other paramyxovirus attachment proteins, lacks both neuraminidase and hemagglutinating activities. In addition to its role in attachment, glycoprotein G interacts with host RIGI and inhibits RIGI-mediated signaling pathway in order to prevent the establishment of the antiviral state.
