Fondo	CD166 antigen (ALCAM) is a ~65 kDa protein. Cell adhesion molecule that mediates both heterotypic cell-cell contacts via its interaction with CD6, as well as homotypic cell-cell contacts. Promotes T-cell activation and proliferation via its interactions with CD6. Contributes to the formation and maturation of the immunological synapse via its interactions with CD6. Flow-cytometry using PE anti-human CD166 antibody. SH-SY5Y cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an PE anti-human CD166 monoclonal antibody (Catalog: HC678127, Yellow Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
