Chorionic somatomammotropin hormone 1 (CSH1) is a ~25 kDa protein. Produced only during pregnancy and is involved in stimulating lactation, fetal growth and metabolism. Does not interact with GHR but only activates PRLR through zinc-induced dimerization.
