Contexte	CCHC-type zinc finger nucleic acid binding protein is a ~19 kDa protein. Single-stranded DNA-binding protein that preferentially binds to the sterol regulatory element (SRE) sequence 5'-GTGCGGTG-3', and thereby mediates transcriptional repression.
