Fondo	Zona pellucida sperm-binding protein 2 is a ~82 kDa protein. Component of the zona pellucida, an extracellular matrix surrounding oocytes which mediates sperm binding, induction of the acrosome reaction and prevents post-fertilization polyspermy.
