| Fondo | Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is a ~68 kDa protein. Binds copper, nickel, and fatty acids as well as, and bilirubin less well than, serum albumin. Only a small percentage (less than 2%) of the human AFP shows estrogen-binding properties. |
| Nota | For research use only. Not suitable for clinical or therapeutic use. |

SEC-HPLC detection for Research Grade Tacatuzumab.

Detects AFP/Alpha-fetoprotein in indirect ELISAs.

SDS-PAGE for Research Grade Tacatuzumab.

Flow-cytometry using APC anti-human AFP antibody. HepG-2 cells were fixed and permeabilized, then stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an APC anti-human AFP monoclonal antibody (Catalog: HY276016, Yellow Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.

Flow-cytometry using PE anti-human AFP antibody. HepG-2 cells were fixed and permeabilized, then stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an PE anti-human AFP monoclonal antibody (Catalog: HY276016, Yellow Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.

Flow-cytometry using FITC anti-human AFP antibody. HepG-2 cells were fixed and permeabilized, then stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an FITC anti-human AFP monoclonal antibody (Catalog: HY276016, Yellow Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.

Western blot analysis was performed using anti-AFP/Alpha-fetoprotein monoclonal antibody at 1ug/mL on various samples.
Lane 1: recombinant human AFP/Alpha-fetoprotein (Catalog No: HY276011)
Lane 2: negative control

Immunofluorescence staining of HepG2 with Human monoclonal antibody (20ug/ml, overnight at 4°C), followed by Alexa Fluor-488-conjugated secondary antibody (6.5ug/ml, 50minutes at room temperature). The target protein was detected in the cytoplasm.
