배경	Podocalyxin (PODXL) is a ~58 kDa protein. Involved in the regulation of both adhesion and cell morphology and cancer progression. Functions as an anti-adhesive molecule that maintains an open filtration pathway between neighboring foot processes in the podocyte by charge repulsion. Acts as a pro-adhesive molecule, enhancing the adherence of cells to immobilized ligands, increasing the rate of migration and cell-cell contacts in an integrin-dependent manner. Induces the formation of apical actin-dependent microvilli. Involved in the formation of a preapical plasma membrane subdomain to set up initial epithelial polarization and the apical lumen formation during renal tubulogenesis.

Western blot

Western blot analysis was performed using anti-PODXL monoclonal antibody at 1ug/mL on various samples.
Lane 1: recombinant human PODXL (Catalog No: HT033012)
Lane 2: negative control
Flow cytometry

Flow-cytometry using anti-human PODXL antibody. Hela cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an anti-human PODXL monoclonal antibody (Catalog HT033207, Yellow Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L Polyclonal Antibody, FITC (abinScience: MF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
