Background

Granzyme M (GZMM) is a ~27 kDa protein. Cleaves peptide substrates after methionine, leucine, and norleucine. Physiological substrates include EZR, alpha-tubulins and the apoptosis inhibitor BIRC5/Survivin. Promotes caspase activation and subsequent apoptosis of target cells.
