Model Organism Reagents

Find species-specific antibodies and recombinant proteins for model organisms across vertebrate, invertebrate, and plant systems. Beyond the primary human, mouse, and rat targets that anchor our catalog of 35,000+ products, we provide validated reagents for an expanding range of model organisms used in developmental biology, comparative genomics, translational medicine, veterinary research, and crop science. Every product includes detailed species cross-reactivity data on the datasheet, and our in-house production under ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 ensures consistent lot-to-lot performance across all species. Browse by Species

Zebrafish (Danio rerio) Transparent embryos, 70% human gene orthology, rapid generation time. The leading vertebrate model for developmental biology, regenerative medicine, and high-throughput drug screening. View Zebrafish reagents →
Canine (Canis lupus familiaris) 360+ hereditary diseases orthologous to human conditions. Uniquely powerful for GWAS, comparative oncology (osteosarcoma, lymphoma), and translational pharmacology. View Canine reagents →
Cat (Felis catus) 250+ hereditary disease analogs, natural FIV/FeLV/FCoV infection models. Essential for comparative medicine, veterinary diagnostics, and feline retroviral biology. View Cat reagents →
Chicken (Gallus gallus) First sequenced non-mammalian amniote, the origin of B-cell biology (bursa of Fabricius). Primary model for avian immunology, poultry vaccine R&D, and classical embryology. View Chicken reagents →
Xenopus laevis Allotetraploid amphibian with large, easily manipulated oocytes. Cornerstone model for cell cycle regulation, cell-free extract biochemistry, and embryonic induction signaling (Wnt, BMP, Nodal). View Xenopus reagents →
Pig (Sus scrofa) Closest physiological and immunological match to humans among large animals. The leading preclinical model for xenotransplantation, cardiovascular research, and vaccine immunogenicity testing. View Porcine reagents →
Tree Shrew (Tupaia belangeri) Closest non-primate relative to primates. Cost-effective alternative for HBV/HCV infection modeling, depression, myopia, and neuroscience research where primate use is restricted. View Tree Shrew reagents →
Rice (Oryza sativa) Premier monocot model with the first fully sequenced crop genome (~389 Mb). Essential for phytohormone signaling, plant innate immunity, grain quality QTL mapping, and abiotic stress research. View Rice reagents →

FAQs

How are your antibodies validated?

Every antibody is validated in its listed applications (WB, IHC, IF, ELISA, FC) with supporting images and data on the product page. We use positive and negative controls plus knockout/knockdown verification where available.

Do you offer conjugated antibodies?

Yes — HRP, AP, biotin, FITC, PE, APC, Alexa Fluor, and other fluorochrome conjugates are available. Custom conjugation services are also offered for bulk orders.

What species do your antibodies react with?

Our primary catalog targets human, mouse, and rat. Many products show validated cross-reactivity with additional species listed above. Check the product datasheet for confirmed reactivity data for your specific model organism.

What is your replacement policy?

If a product does not perform as described under recommended conditions, contact us within 30 days for replacement or credit. Our technical team will help troubleshoot first.

Can I get custom antibodies for a species not listed?

Yes — our parent company AtaGenix offers full custom antibody development from immunogen design through hybridoma screening and scale-up production. We can develop reagents for any target species with available sequence data.

All products manufactured by AtaGenix Laboratories under ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 quality systems.
