Ovarian cancer is the fifth leading cause of cancer death among women globally, with high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma (HGSOC) accounting for approximately 70% of cases. Treatment advances include PARP inhibitors for BRCA-mutant and HRD tumors, bevacizumab (anti-VEGF), and emerging FOLR1-targeted ADC therapy (mirvetuximab soravtansine). Biomarker-guided treatment selection is increasingly central to clinical decision-making.

abinScience provides validated antibodies, recombinant proteins, and ELISA kits for key ovarian cancer research targets. All products are manufactured by our parent company AtaGenix Laboratories under ISO quality systems. Browse products below or contact us for custom antibody development.
CA125 (MUC16) — CA125 is the most widely used serum biomarker for ovarian cancer diagnosis and treatment monitoring. Anti-CA125 antibodies and recombinant MUC16 proteins support ELISA assay development, IHC validation, and research into CA125-mesothelin interactions that mediate peritoneal metastasis.

BRCA1 / BRCA2 — Germline and somatic BRCA1/2 mutations occur in approximately 20–25% of HGSOC, creating homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) that confers sensitivity to PARP inhibitors and platinum chemotherapy. Anti-BRCA1/2 antibodies enable nuclear foci formation assays, HRD pathway characterization, and DNA damage repair studies.

FOLR1 (Folate Receptor Alpha) — FOLR1 is overexpressed in approximately 80% of epithelial ovarian cancers and serves as the target for mirvetuximab soravtansine (anti-FRα ADC). Anti-FOLR1 antibodies enable IHC expression scoring for patient stratification, ADC internalization studies, and receptor quantification by flow cytometry.

HE4 (WFDC2) — Human epididymis protein 4 (HE4) complements CA125 in ovarian cancer diagnosis and is incorporated into the ROMA algorithm. Anti-HE4 antibodies support serum immunoassay development and IHC-based tissue expression profiling for differential diagnosis of pelvic masses.
