Allergen Proteins & Anti-Allergen Antibodies

Access recombinant allergen proteins and anti-allergen antibodies covering major allergen sources: house dust mite (Der p 1, Der f 1), tree/grass pollen (Bet v 1, Phl p 5), food allergens (Ara h 1/2/3, Gal d 1, Bos d 5), animal dander (Fel d 1, Can f 1), insect venom (Api m 1), and mold (Alt a 1, Asp f 1). Allergic disease is driven by type I (IgE-mediated) hypersensitivity: allergen cross-linking of surface-bound IgE on mast cells and basophils triggers FcεRI aggregation, degranulation, and release of histamine, leukotrienes, and pro-inflammatory cytokines. Molecular characterization of individual allergen components has transformed allergy diagnostics from extract-based testing to component-resolved diagnostics (CRD), enabling precise sensitization profiling and clinical risk stratification. Our reagents support allergen-specific IgE assay development, component-resolved diagnostics research, allergen immunotherapy (AIT) monitoring (IgE/IgG4 ratio tracking during SCIT and SLIT), environmental allergen quantification (indoor dust, air sampling), and food allergen contamination testing. Recombinant Allergen Proteins High-purity recombinant major and minor allergen components produced in E. coli or mammalian expression systems. Defined protein sequences enable standardized IgE binding studies and eliminate the batch variation inherent in natural allergen extracts, providing consistent coating antigens for immunoassay development.
Component-Resolved Diagnostics (CRD) Individual allergen components (e.g., Ara h 2 for peanut anaphylaxis risk, Bet v 1 for birch primary sensitization, Phl p 1/5 for grass pollen) enable molecular-level allergy profiling — distinguishing genuine sensitization from cross-reactivity (e.g., PR-10 panallergen family) and predicting clinical severity.
Anti-Allergen Detection Antibodies Monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies against major allergens enable quantitative sandwich ELISA for environmental allergen monitoring (indoor dust mite Der p 1 levels, airborne pollen counts, pet dander Fel d 1 in settled dust) and food allergen contamination testing in manufacturing environments.
IgE Assay Development Recombinant allergens serve as coating antigens for allergen-specific IgE immunoassays (ImmunoCAP-equivalent platform development). Paired with anti-human IgE secondary antibodies, these proteins enable construction of serology-based allergy diagnostic systems with defined molecular specificity and quantitative readout.
Immunotherapy Monitoring Track allergen-specific IgG4 blocking antibody induction and IgE/IgG4 ratio changes during subcutaneous (SCIT) and sublingual (SLIT) immunotherapy courses — enabling assessment of treatment efficacy, immune tolerance induction, and identification of immunotherapy responders vs. non-responders.
