Shipping In general, proteins are provided as lyophilized powder/frozen liquid. They are shipped out with dry ice/blue ice unless customers require otherwise.
Stability and Storage Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for frequent use. Store at -20 to -80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.
Alternate NamesDEP domain-containing mTOR-interacting protein, DEP domain-containing protein 6, DEPDC6, DEPTOR, hDEPTOR
Background

DEP domain-containing mTOR-interacting protein is a ~46 kDa protein. Negative regulator of the mTORC1 and mTORC2 complexes: inhibits the protein kinase activity of MTOR, thereby inactivating both complexes. DEPTOR inhibits mTORC1 and mTORC2 to induce autophagy. In contrast to AKT1S1/PRAS40, only partially inhibits mTORC1 activity.
