Background	Oncostatin-M (OSM) is a ~28 kDa protein. Growth regulator. Inhibits the proliferation of a number of tumor cell lines. Stimulates proliferation of AIDS-KS cells. It regulates cytokine production, including IL-6, G-CSF and GM-CSF from endothelial cells. Uses both type I OSM receptor (heterodimers composed of LIFR and IL6ST) and type II OSM receptor (heterodimers composed of OSMR and IL6ST).

Flow Cytometry

Flow-cytometry using anti-human OSM antibody.OSM/Oncostatin-M Transfected CHO cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an anti-human OSM antibody monoclonal antibody (Catalog # HB745107 ,Green Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a FITC conjugated goat anti-mouse antibody (Catalog # MF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
