Background	Gremlin-1 (GREM1/DAND2) is a ~20 kDa protein. Cytokine that may play an important role during carcinogenesis and metanephric kidney organogenesis, as a BMP antagonist required for early limb outgrowth and patterning in maintaining the FGF4-SHH feedback loop. Down-regulates the BMP4 signaling in a dose-dependent manner. Antagonist of BMP2; inhibits BMP2-mediated differentiation of osteoblasts (in vitro). Acts as inhibitor of monocyte chemotaxis. Flow Cytometry

Flow-cytometry using anti-human GREM1 antibody.GREM1 Transfected CHO cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an anti-human GREM1 antibody monoclonal antibody (Catalog # HT246010 ,Green Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a FITC conjugated goat anti-human antibody (Catalog # HF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
