Selection Guide

  1. Target Type: Choose tag antibodies for detection; drug/hormone for bioanalysis; toxin for safety screening.
  2. Assay Format: Use competitive ELISA with matched coating antigen and tracer; avoid sandwich for haptens.
  3. IC50 & Sensitivity: Select based on required detection limit; lower IC50 = higher sensitivity.
  4. Cross-Reactivity: Review CR% table; <1% indicates high specificity to target vs analogs.
  5. Conjugate Pair: Order antibody + matched hapten-carrier + HRP tracer for full assay setup.

Applications

Drug monitoring & pharmacokinetics
Hormone & vitamin quantification
Food safety & mycotoxin screening
Environmental toxin detection
Tag-based assay development

FAQs

Why is competitive ELISA used for small molecules?

Small molecules rarely support sandwich ELISA; competitive assays measure inhibition of antibody binding to immobilized hapten.

How do I interpret IC50?

IC50 is the concentration producing 50% inhibition under stated conditions; compare values only with matched buffers and conjugates.

How is cross-reactivity reported?

Cross-reactivity (CR%) compares IC50 of target vs analogs; lower CR indicates higher specificity. See datasheet tables.

Do you supply matched conjugates?

Yes, hapten–BSA/OVA coating antigens and HRP/biotin tracers are provided for most targets to replicate performance.
