Stability and Storage

Background

Interleukin-11 receptor subunit alpha (IL11RA) is a ~45 kDa protein. Receptor for interleukin-11 (IL11). The receptor systems for IL6, LIF, OSM, CNTF, IL11 and CT1 can utilize IL6ST for initiating signal transmission. The IL11/IL11RA/IL6ST complex may be involved in the control of proliferation and/or differentiation of skeletogenic progenitor or other mesenchymal cells (Probable). Essential for the normal development of craniofacial bones and teeth. Restricts suture fusion and tooth number.

Flow Cytometry

Flow-cytometry using anti-human IL11RA antibody.IL11RA Transfected CHO cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an anti-human IL11RA antibody monoclonal antibody (Catalog # HC604013 ,Green Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a FITC conjugated goat anti-human antibody (Catalog # HF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
