Background

Urokinase plasminogen activator surface receptor (CD87/PLAUR) is a ~36 kDa protein. Acts as a receptor for urokinase plasminogen activator. Plays a role in localizing and promoting plasmin formation. Mediates the proteolysis-independent signal transduction activation effects of U-PA. It is subject to negative-feedback regulation by U-PA which cleaves it into an inactive form.

    Flow-cytometry using PE anti-human PLAUR antibody. U87 cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an PE anti-human PLAUR monoclonal antibody (Catalog: HX035013, Yellow Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
