Background

Glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, mitochondrial (GPD2) is a ~80 kDa protein. Calcium-responsive mitochondrial glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase which seems to be a key component of the pancreatic beta-cell glucose-sensing device.
