| Background | C-C motif chemokine 7 (CCL7/MCP-3) is a ~11 kDa protein. Chemotactic factor that plays an important role in immune regulation. Attracts monocytes, eosinophils, basophils, and T-cells to sites of inflammation or infection. Upon binding to various chemokine receptors including CCR1, CCR2, CCR3, and CCR5, facilitates immune cell migration by guiding them to infected tissues. Interacts with CCR2 to facilitate the release of monocytes from the bone marrow into the bloodstream, maintaining monocyte homeostasis. In turn, monocytes recruited to inflamed or injured tissues can differentiate into macrophages or dendritic cells, which are essential for immune defense and tissue repair. 1. Bonini, JA. et al. Flow-cytometry using anti-human CCL7 antibody.LPS treated THP-1 cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an anti-human CCL7 antibody monoclonal antibody (Catalog # HX155107 ,Green Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a FITC conjugated goat anti-mouse antibody (Catalog # MF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.

Western blot analysis was performed using anti-CCL24/Eotaxin-2/MPIF-2 monoclonal antibody at 1ug/mL on various samples.
