| Background | Neprilysin (CD10/MME) is a ~85 kDa protein. Thermolysin-like specificity, but is almost confined on acting on polypeptides of up to 30 amino acids. Biologically important in the destruction of opioid peptides such as Met- and Leu-enkephalins by cleavage of a Gly-Phe bond. Catalyzes cleavage of bradykinin, substance P and neurotensin peptides. Able to cleave angiotensin-1, angiotensin-2 and angiotensin 1-9. Involved in the degradation of atrial natriuretic factor (ANF) and brain natriuretic factor (BNP(1-32)). 1. Rice, GI. et al. SEC-HPLC detection for Anti-Human CD10/MME Antibody (NL-1).

Detects CD10/MME in indirect ELISAs.

Flow-cytometry using anti-human CD10 antibody. Untransfected cells (blue Histogram) and Transfected cells (Yellow Histogram) were stained with an anti-human CD10 monoclonal antibody (Catalog: HY401107) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L Polyclonal Antibody, FITC (abinScience: MF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
