| Background | C-C chemokine receptor type 3 (CD193/CCR3) is a ~41 kDa protein. G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) that plays a key role in the immune system by regulating the migration and activation of white blood cells in response to chemokines. Selectively interacts with eosinophil-attracting chemokines such as eotaxin/CCL11, eotaxin-2/CCL24 and eotaxin-3/CCL26. Ligand binding triggers intracellular signaling that leads to chemotaxis of immune cells. Mechanistically, signals through GNA14 or GNA16 to induce stimulation of phospholipase Cbeta/PLCB2 and subsequently chemotaxis. Alternatively, transduces signal via GNAI1 resulting in elevated intracellular calcium levels and activation of the PI3K/AKT pathway. 1. Song, Y. et al. (2018) Biochemistry 57, 852-860. SEC-HPLC detection for Anti-Human CD193/CCR3 Antibody (5E8-G9-B4).

Flow-cytometry using anti-human CD193 antibody. Untransfected cells (blue Histogram) and Transfected cells (Yellow Histogram) were stained with an anti-human CD193 monoclonal antibody (Catalog: HW620107) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L Polyclonal Antibody, FITC (abinScience: MF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
