Background

CD302 antigen is a ~26 kDa protein. Multifunctional C-type lectin receptor involved in endocytosis, phagocytosis and regulation of cell adhesion and migration. Plays a critical role in guiding dendritic cells to lymph nodes. Also functions as a restriction factor for Hepatitis C virus (HCV) at the liver cell surface, likely by inhibiting a viral cell entry step.
