Background

L-selectin (CD62L/SELL) is a ~42 kDa protein. Calcium-dependent lectin that mediates cell adhesion by binding to glycoproteins on neighboring cells. Mediates the adherence of lymphocytes to endothelial cells of high endothelial venules in peripheral lymph nodes. Promotes initial tethering and rolling of leukocytes in endothelia.

    Flow Cytometry

Flow-cytometry using anti-human SELL antibody. Human Jurkat cell line were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Green Histogram) or an anti-human SELL antibody monoclonal antibody (Catalog # HB644107 , Red Histogram) at a concentration of 20 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a FITC conjugated goat anti-human antibody (Catalog # HF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
