Background

Centrosomal protein of 112 kDa (CEP112) is a ~112 kDa protein. Recruits mRNAs essential for sperm development, such as CFAP61 and FSIP2 mRNAs, into phase-separated condensates, thereby regulating their translation through a mechanism of liquid-liquid phase separation.
