Background

Troponin T, slow skeletal muscle (TNNT1) is a ~32 kDa protein. Troponin T is the tropomyosin-binding subunit of troponin, the thin filament regulatory complex which confers calcium-sensitivity to striated muscle actomyosin ATPase activity.
