Background

Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase F (LAR/PTPRF) is a ~212 kDa protein. Possible cell adhesion receptor. It possesses an intrinsic protein tyrosine phosphatase activity (PTPase) and dephosphorylates EPHA2 regulating its activity.
