Background

Genome polyprotein is a ~251 kDa protein. Together with NTPase and NS4, initiates the formation of the replication complex. Induces the proliferation of the host smooth ER membranes forming long tubular structures. These remodeled membranes probably form the viral factories that contain the replication complex.
