Shipping In general, proteins are provided as lyophilized powder/frozen liquid. They are shipped out with dry ice/blue ice unless customers require otherwise.
Stability and Storage Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for frequent use. Store at -20 to -80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.
Alternate NamesA-kinase anchor protein 18 kDa, A-kinase anchor protein 7 isoforms alpha and beta, AKAP 18, AKAP-7 isoforms alpha and beta, AKAP15, AKAP18, AKAP7, PRKA7 isoforms alpha/beta, Protein kinase A-anchoring protein 7 isoforms alpha/beta
Background

A-kinase anchor protein 7 isoforms alpha and beta is a ~11 kDa protein. Targets the cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA) to the plasma membrane, and permits functional coupling to the L-type calcium channel. The membrane-associated form reduces epithelial sodium channel (ENaC) activity, whereas the free cytoplasmic form may negatively regulate ENaC channel feedback inhibition by intracellular sodium.
