Shipping In general, proteins are provided as lyophilized powder/frozen liquid. They are shipped out with dry ice/blue ice unless customers require otherwise.
Stability and Storage Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for frequent use. Store at -20 to -80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.
Alternate NamesEC:1.2.1.12, GAPD2, GAPDH-2, GAPDH2, GAPDHS, GAPDS, Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, testis-specific, Spermatogenic cell-specific glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase 2, Spermatogenic glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase
Background

Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, testis-specific is a ~44 kDa protein. Catalyzes the conversion of D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate (G3P) into 3-phospho-D-glyceroyl phosphate in glycolysis and the reverse reaction in gluconeogenesis. May play an important role in regulating the switch between different pathways for energy production during spermiogenesis and in the spermatozoon. Required for sperm motility and male fertility.
