Reconstitution Reconstitute in sterile water for a stock solution. A copy of datasheet will be provided with the products, please refer to it for details.
Shipping In general, proteins are provided as lyophilized powder/frozen liquid. They are shipped out with dry ice/blue ice unless customers require otherwise.
Stability and Storage Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for frequent use. Store at -20 to -80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.
Alternate NamesG-protein-signaling modulator 2, GPSM2, LGN, Mosaic protein LGN
Background

G-protein-signaling modulator 2 is a ~76 kDa protein. Plays an important role in mitotic spindle pole organization via its interaction with NUMA1. Required for cortical dynein-dynactin complex recruitment during metaphase. Plays a role in metaphase spindle orientation. Also plays an important role in asymmetric cell divisions. Has guanine nucleotide dissociation inhibitor (GDI) activity towards G(i) alpha proteins, such as GNAI1 and GNAI3, and thereby regulates their activity.
