Shipping In general, proteins are provided as lyophilized powder/frozen liquid. They are shipped out with dry ice/blue ice unless customers require otherwise.
Stability and Storage Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for frequent use. Store at -20 to -80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.
Alternate NamesCI-B14, Complex I-B14, LYR motif-containing protein 6, LYRM6, NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 alpha subcomplex subunit 6, NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase B14 subunit, NADHB14, NDUFA6
Background

NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 alpha subcomplex subunit 6 is a ~15 kDa protein. Accessory subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), that is believed to be not involved in catalysis. Required for proper complex I assembly. Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone.
