Background	Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 9 (ADAM9) is a ~90 kDa protein. Metalloprotease that cleaves and releases a number of molecules with important roles in tumorigenesis and angiogenesis, such as TEK, KDR, EPHB4, CD40, VCAM1 and CDH5. May mediate cell-cell, cell-matrix interactions and regulate the motility of cells via interactions with integrins.

Flow cytometry

Flow-cytometry using anti-human ADAM9 antibody. HepG2 cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an anti-human ADAM9 monoclonal antibody (Catalog HC521016, Yellow Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a Goat Anti-Human IgG H&L Polyclonal Antibody, FITC (abinScience: HF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
