| Host species | Human |
| Isotype | IgG |
| Clone ID | HeFi-1 |
| Biological activity | HeFi-1 (0.1 ng/uL, 1 h) can bind specifically to Karpas299 cells with a binding rate of over 90 % [1]. HeFi-1 (20 ug/mL, 48 h) can significantly inhibit the proliferation of Karpas299 cells and induces G1 phase blockade [1]. HeFi-1 (20 ug/mL, 12-24 h) can significantly induce apoptosis in eosinophil [2]. Cell Proliferation Assay [1] Cell Line: Karpas299 cells Concentration: 20 ug/mL Incubation Time: 48 h Result: Significantly inhibited cell proliferation with an inhibition rate of 40%, superior to Daclizumab (). Cell Cycle Analysis [1] Cell Line: Karpas299 cells Concentration: 20 ug/mL Incubation Time: 48 h Result: Induced G1 phase arrest and a decrease in S phase cells. HeFi-1 (100 ug, i.v., once weekly, for 4 weeks) can effectively prolong survival in SCID/NOD wild-type and FcRγ -/- mice bearing Karpas299 lymphoma [1]. |

| Background | Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 8 (CD30/TNFRSF8) is a ~63 kDa protein. Receptor for TNFSF8/CD30L. May play a role in the regulation of cellular growth and transformation of activated lymphoblasts. Regulates gene expression through activation of NF-kappa-B. CD30 is the therapeutic target of brentuximab vedotin (Adcetris). 1. Smith, CA. et al. (1993) Cell 73, 1349-60. PMID: 8391931 2. Aizawa, S. et al.
