| Background | Endoglin (CD105/ENG) is a ~70 kDa protein. Vascular endothelium glycoprotein that plays an important role in the regulation of angiogenesis. Required for normal structure and integrity of adult vasculature. Regulates the migration of vascular endothelial cells. Required for normal extraembryonic angiogenesis and for embryonic heart development. May regulate endothelial cell shape changes in response to blood flow, which drive vascular remodeling and establishment of normal vascular morphology during angiogenesis. 1. Castonguay, R. et al. | Note | For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. For research use only. |

Flow-cytometry using FITC anti-human CD105 antibody. Hela cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an FITC anti-human CD105 monoclonal antibody (Catalog: HB604117, Yellow Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
