Background

P-selectin glycoprotein ligand 1 (CD162/SELPLG) is a ~43 kDa protein. A SLe(x)-type proteoglycan, which through high affinity, calcium-dependent interactions with E-, P- and L-selectins, mediates rapid rolling of leukocytes over vascular surfaces during the initial steps in inflammation. Critical for the initial leukocyte capture.

    Flow-cytometry using anti-human CD162 antibody.Jurkat cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an anti-human CD162 antibody monoclonal antibody (Catalog # HC298107 ,Green Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a FITC conjugated goat anti-human antibody (Catalog # HF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
