Background	Cadherin-17 (CDH17) is a ~92 kDa protein. Cadherins are calcium-dependent cell adhesion proteins. They preferentially interact with themselves in a homophilic manner in connecting cells; cadherins may thus contribute to the sorting of heterogeneous cell types. LI-cadherin may have a role in the morphological organization of liver and intestine. Involved in intestinal peptide transport.
Note	For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. For research use only.

Flow cytometry

Flow-cytometry using PE anti-human CDH17 antibody. CACO-2 cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an PE anti-human CDH17 monoclonal antibody (Catalog HC546127, Yellow Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
