| Background | Guanylyl cyclase C (GUCY2C/GCC) is a ~123 kDa protein. Guanylyl cyclase that catalyzes synthesis of cyclic GMP (cGMP) from GTP. Receptor for the E.coli heat-stable enterotoxin; E.coli enterotoxin markedly stimulates the accumulation of cGMP in mammalian cells expressing GUCY2C. Flow cytometry analysis was performed using anti-human GUCY2C monoclonal antibody. CHO cells transiently transfected with human GUCY2C plasmids were incubated with an irrelevant antibody (blue histogram) or FITC-conjugated anti-human GUCY2C monoclonal antibody (Catalog # HB626117, green histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/mL for 30 min at room temperature. After washing, cells were directly analyzed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
