| Background | Neurotensin receptor type 1 (NTSR1) is a ~46 kDa protein. G-protein coupled receptor for the tridecapeptide neurotensin (NTS). Signaling is effected via G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system.
