| Background | Matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP9) is a ~80 kDa protein. Matrix metalloproteinase that plays an essential role in local proteolysis of the extracellular matrix and in leukocyte migration. Could play a role in bone osteoclastic resorption. Cleaves KiSS1 at a Gly-|-Leu bond. Cleaves NINJ1 to generate the Secreted ninjurin-1 form. Cleaves type IV and type V collagen into large C-terminal three quarter fragments and shorter N-terminal one quarter fragments. 1. Reponen, P. et al. SDS-PAGE for Anti-Mouse MMP9 Antibody (SDS3).

Flow-cytometry using PE anti-human MMP2 antibody. U87 cells were fixed and permeabilized, then stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an PE anti-human MMP2 monoclonal antibody (Catalog: MB945013, Yellow Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
