Stability and Storage Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for frequent use. Store at -20 to -80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.
Alternate NamesELK1, ETS domain-containing protein Elk-1
Background

ETS domain-containing protein Elk-1 is a ~44 kDa protein. Transcription factor that binds to purine-rich DNA sequences. Forms a ternary complex with SRF and the ETS and SRF motifs of the serum response element (SRE) on the promoter region of immediate early genes such as FOS and IER2. Induces target gene transcription upon JNK and MAPK-signaling pathways stimulation.
