Shipping In general, proteins are provided as lyophilized powder/frozen liquid. They are shipped out with dry ice/blue ice unless customers require otherwise.
Stability and Storage Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Store at 2 to 8°C for frequent use. Store at -20 to -80°C for twelve months from the date of receipt.
Alternate NamesNOGOR, NgR, Nogo receptor, Nogo-66 receptor, RTN4R, Reticulon-4 receptor
Background

Reticulon-4 receptor is a ~50 kDa protein. Receptor for RTN4, OMG and MAG. Functions as a receptor for the sialylated gangliosides GT1b and GM1. Besides, functions as a receptor for chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans. Can also bind heparin. Intracellular signaling cascades are triggered via the coreceptor NGFR.
