Research-grade reagents for Human Parvovirus B19 (B19V) — a small, non-enveloped, single-stranded DNA virus (family Parvoviridae, genus Erythroparvovirus) with exclusive tropism for erythroid progenitor cells via the globoside (P antigen) receptor. B19V is the causative agent of erythema infectiosum (fifth disease) in children, transient aplastic crisis in patients with chronic hemolytic anemias, hydrops fetalis in pregnant women, and persistent infection leading to pure red cell aplasia in immunocompromised individuals. The icosahedral capsid is assembled from 60 copies of structural proteins VP1 (~5%) and VP2 (~95%), with the VP1 unique region (VP1u) harboring the phospholipase A2 (PLA2) domain essential for endosomal escape and serving as the major target for neutralizing antibodies. The non-structural protein NS1 is a multifunctional replication initiator with helicase, nickase, and transactivation activities critical for viral DNA replication and host cell cytotoxicity. We offer recombinant antibodies, InVivoMAb functional-grade antibodies, polyclonal antibodies, and recombinant proteins targeting VP1, VP2, and NS1, validated for ELISA, Western blot, neutralization, and functional blocking assays. Complete coverage of all three major viral targets supports serodiagnostic assay development, VP1u-based neutralization studies, NS1-mediated cytotoxicity and apoptosis research, blood product screening assay validation, and B19V pathogenesis investigation.
