Research-grade reagents for Human Parvovirus B19 (B19V) — a small, non-enveloped, single-stranded DNA virus (family Parvoviridae, genus Erythroparvovirus) with exclusive tropism for erythroid progenitor cells via the globoside (P antigen) receptor. B19V is the causative agent of erythema infectiosum (fifth disease) in children, transient aplastic crisis in patients with chronic hemolytic anemias, hydrops fetalis in pregnant women, and persistent infection leading to pure red cell aplasia in immunocompromised individuals. The icosahedral capsid is assembled from 60 copies of structural proteins VP1 (~5%) and VP2 (~95%), with the VP1 unique region (VP1u) harboring the phospholipase A2 (PLA2) domain essential for endosomal escape and serving as the major target for neutralizing antibodies. The non-structural protein NS1 is a multifunctional replication initiator with helicase, nickase, and transactivation activities critical for viral DNA replication and host cell cytotoxicity. We offer recombinant antibodies, InVivoMAb functional-grade antibodies, polyclonal antibodies, and recombinant proteins targeting VP1, VP2, and NS1, validated for ELISA, Western blot, neutralization, and functional blocking assays. Complete coverage of all three major viral targets supports serodiagnostic assay development, VP1u-based neutralization studies, NS1-mediated cytotoxicity and apoptosis research, blood product screening assay validation, and B19V pathogenesis investigation. Recombinant Antibodies Sequence-defined clone targeting VP2 major capsid protein (SAA0341). Engineered for consistent lot-to-lot performance in ELISA-based B19V antigen detection, capsid integrity assessment, and as a reference standard for serodiagnostic assay development and blood product screening validation.
InVivoMAb Functional-Grade Low-endotoxin, azide-free antibodies targeting NS1 non-structural protein (Iv0007) and VP1 capsid protein (Iv0008, Iv0009). The anti-VP1 clones are suitable for in vivo neutralization, passive immunization, and VP1u-mediated entry blocking studies. The anti-NS1 clone enables functional investigation of NS1-driven cytotoxicity, apoptosis induction, and host cell cycle arrest in erythroid progenitor models.
Polyclonal Antibodies Broad epitope recognition reagents for all three major B19V proteins: NS1 (replication initiator/transactivator), VP2 (major capsid protein, ~95% of virion surface), and VP1 (minor capsid protein containing the immunodominant VP1u region). Validated for Western blot and ELISA detection of viral proteins in infected cell lysates, serum samples, and recombinant VLP preparations.
Recombinant Proteins His-tagged B19V antigens covering NS1 (non-structural protein 1), VP2 (major capsid protein), and VP1 (minor capsid protein). Validated for SDS-PAGE and Western blot. Suitable as coating antigens for IgM/IgG serodiagnostic ELISA development, immunogens for antibody generation, substrates for PLA2 enzymatic activity assays (VP1u), and reference standards for B19V NAT (nucleic acid testing) assay calibration and blood safety screening programs.
