Background	Butyrophilin subfamily 3 member A1 (CD277/BTN3A1) is a ~57 kDa protein. Plays a role in T-cell activation and in the adaptive immune response. Regulates the proliferation of activated T-cells. Regulates the release of cytokines and IFNG by activated T-cells. Mediates the response of T-cells toward infected and transformed cells that are characterized by high levels of phosphorylated metabolites, such as isopentenyl pyrophosphate.

Flow-cytometry

Flow-cytometry using anti-human CD277 antibody.Human peripheral blood lymphocytes were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an anti-human CD277 antibody monoclonal antibody (Catalog # HT139107 ,Green Histogram) at a concentration of 5 ug/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a FITC conjugated goat anti-mouse antibody (Catalog # MF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
