|
| Species reactivity | Human |
| Applications | ELISA, Bioactivity: FCM, Functional assay, Research in vivo |
| Host species | Human |
| Clonality | Monoclonal |
| Isotype | IgG |
| Clone ID | JNJ-64164711 |
| Biological activity | JNJ-64164711 binds human GITR with high affinity (K d = 180 pM), interacts with human FcγRIIIa variants, targets the CRD1 domain of GITR, and does not inhibit GITR-GITRL binding [1]. JNJ-64164711 mediates greater ADCC-driven depletion of GITR + HuT102, KMS-12-BM, RPMI 8226, JJN-3 cell lines, primary activated GITR + T cells, and in vitro expanded Tregs than other clinical-stage GITR agonist monoclonal antibodies [1]. JNJ-64164711 selectively depletes intratumoral effector Tregs in dissociated primary human patient tumor samples [1]. |

| Background | Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 18 (CD357/GITR) is a ~26 kDa protein. Receptor for TNFSF18. Seems to be involved in interactions between activated T-lymphocytes and endothelial cells and in the regulation of T-cell receptor-mediated cell death. Mediated NF-kappa-B activation via the TRAF2/NIK pathway. |
