Influenza viruses are enveloped, segmented negative-sense RNA viruses of the family Orthomyxoviridae. Influenza A virus (IAV), classified by hemagglutinin (HA, 18 subtypes) and neuraminidase (NA, 11 subtypes), causes seasonal epidemics and sporadic pandemics. Influenza B virus (IBV) circulates as two lineages (Victoria and Yamagata) with exclusively human tropism. Do you offer broadly neutralizing (bnAb) anti-HA antibodies?

How can I distinguish Flu A from Flu B in my assay?
Use NP (nucleoprotein) — it is the standard target for type discrimination. Our Flu A NP antibodies (SAA0866, 1A256) do not cross-react with Flu B NP, and vice versa. Pair with our type-specific NP recombinant proteins for sandwich ELISA or lateral flow development.
